New Type Plastic Corner Key

The core difference between new-type plastic corner keys (usually made of TPE) and traditional plastic corner keys (mostly PVC or ABS) lies in material toughness and structural design: New-type keys utilize highly elastic TPE material, absorbing over 85% of impact force. They are impact-resistant, anti-aging, and do not damage glass. Combined with an adjustable-thickness, split-type connector design, they can be used with glass of varying thicknesses, greatly improving the safety of home decoration protection.

Traditional-type keys, on the other hand, are harder and more brittle, lacking cushioning performance and easily breaking upon impact. They are also mostly fixed-size, one-piece structures with poor adaptability to glass thickness, primarily suitable only for connecting industrial equipment or ordinary furniture where cushioning requirements are not high.

The specification system for plastic corner keys mainly revolves around three dimensions: width, function, and material. Width is named according to the air layer, covering the entire range from 4A to 27A, with 12A and 16A being the most common export sizes. Functionally, they are divided into standard right-angle models without holes, inflatable models with air vents (used for high-end argon-insulated glass), and flexible models with arbitrary angles (used for irregularly shaped glass). The material generally uses high-pressure polypropylene (PP) to ensure toughness, and the standard colors are black to match warm edge strips and white to match aluminum strips, precisely matching the needs of automated production lines.
