Product Features Of Butyl Tape

Butyl tape is an eco-friendly, solvent-free sealing and bonding material primarily composed of butyl rubber and polyisobutylene. It is manufactured using state-of-the-art patented technology, specialized production processes, and imported high-performance polymer materials. The product features high strength, corrosion resistance, and chemical stability, along with outstanding bonding, waterproofing, and low-temperature performance; it is easy to apply and suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -15°C to 45°C.

Mechanically, it exhibits high tensile strength and excellent elastic adaptability. It is suitable for applications such as roof waterproofing in new construction, treatment of construction joints in underground structures, sealing of municipal subway tunnels, automotive assembly, and sealing joints in color-coated steel sheets. During application, the substrate surface must be kept clean and dry, and the appropriate tape specification selected based on project requirements; use in conjunction with benzene-containing materials is prohibited. Complementary products include single-sided aluminum foil tape and double-sided tape, enabling effective sealing across various materials such as metal sheets and waterproofing membranes.
